Artist AleXsandro Palombo revealed his latest “art” that features Kendall Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart and other female celebrities in a series of edited photos to seemingly raise awareness for domestic violence. In the disturbing photos, the women are made to look like victims of abuse.
The photos were allegedly released in honor of International Day for Elimination of Violence. Palombo says, “Life can be a fairytale, If you break the silence.” Each photo also includes the message, “No woman is immune from domestic abuse.”
According to Entertainment Tonight, AleXsandro did not get consent to use the women’s likenesses. “This new series is a contemporary art series, so no need [to get] the consent of the celebrity,” the artist’s rep said.
None of the celebrities have issued a statement about the ad campaign yet.
