Listen to Ally Brooke’s New Song for Oprah Winfrey’s Healthy Lifestyle Initiative: “The Truth Is In There”

Ally Brooke OprahFormer Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke was chosen by Oprah Winfrey and singer/songwriter Diane Warren to support their new #WellnessThatWorks initiative. The initiative basically involves Oprah’s involvement in rebranding Weight Watchers toward overall wellness, fitness and healthy lifestyles versus just calorie counting and weight loss.

About the release of the new song, Ally wrote on Instagram, “Guys! I teamed up with @WW to bring you my performance of “The Truth Is In There” the global campaign song for @WW.” “Honored to be chosen by @oprah and @warren_diane for this,” Ally added, “I love the @WW message, no matter what your reason or “truth” is for getting healthy.”

Ally Brooke Made her First Major National Solo Appearance on a Float at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Ally Brooke ParadeAlly Brooke’s solo career seems to be getting off to a chillier start than those of the other four former members of Fifth Harmony. In her first major national solo performance, Ally had to brave record cold temperatures on a small float at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade before giving a rendition of her recently-released holiday single, “Last Christmas.”

After her appearance at the parade, Ally posted a funny video of what she looked like after braving more than two hours in temperatures that hovered around 21 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ally Brooke Shares Cover of Wham’s Holiday Classic, “Last Christmas”

Ally Brooke Last ChristmasAlly Brooke might have been the slowest former member of Fifth Harmony to make it out of the solo chute. But it looks like she is determined to follow in the footsteps of one-time bandmates Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Normani and Dinah Jane and notch her mark as an individual artist.

Ally took to Instagram to announce the release of her first Christmas song, a cover of Wham’s classic “Last Christmas.” Ally doesn’t take big risks with her version, but she does trade a little bit of the original’s vibe as an upbeat ballad for a little more of a dance track feeling.

Dinah Jane Wants a Fifth Harmony Reunion … But There May be One Consideration Holding Things Up

Dinah Jane 5H ReunionDinah Jane sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss the beginning of her solo career when the inevitable topic of her former group’s hiatus came up. Fifth Harmony’s final lineup as a foursome — Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, Normani and Ally Brooke — have all begun the process of plotting out their careers as individual artists. Dinah Jane, Lauren and Normani have created substantial buzz with their initial singles, and Ally Brooke seems committed to at least trying the same path later this year or early next.

That focus on solo careers, coupled with rumors of behind the scenes tensions prior to Fifth Harmony’s “break,” have led many to speculate that Fifth Harmony may actually never get back together.
