Marvel’s “Black Panther” is breaking box office records and Amandla Stenberg says that they almost had a part in it. In an interview with CBC Arts, the actor revealed that they made it very far in the audition process before they decided to take their name out of the running.
Zendaya has been named one of Oprah’s SuperSoul100 for 2016. Each individual chosen is someone who has been aware of the ongoing social issues and has used their voice to inspire others. Basically, these celebs are woke and aren’t afraid to speak the truth on different things impacting the world.
“So many inspiring, awakened and visionary people in one photo, so honored to be a part of this.#SuperSoul100 @oprah,” Zendaya wrote on Instagram. Jesse Williams, Sophia Bush, Amandla Stenberg and Gina Rodriguez were also included on the list.

The nominees for the 2016 BET Awards have been announced. This year’s nominations include a few surprises along with a number of mainstays. Drake leads the pack with a total of nine nominations. He’s followed by Beyoncé and Rihanna, both of whom races up five. Adele is nominated for “Best Female R&B/Pop Artist,” her first-ever BET Awards nod.
Other nominees include The Weeknd, Alessia Cara, Willow Smith and Amandla Stenberg.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney presented her Fall collection last night at the Amoeba Music store in Los Angeles. Demi Lovato went all black, while Katy Perry sported a turban as part of her ensemble.
