It’s no surprise Taylor Swift’s return to music means a return to copious award show nominations. “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready For It?” may be the only two songs she’s put out in 2017, but Taylor still found a way to lead the pack in nods at the 2017 MTV EMAs. With nominations in six categories, Taylor could go home with a lot of hardware–if she shows up.

Calvin Harris released the music video for his single, “Feels,” featuring Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Big Sean on Tuesday. The trio is shot on what looks like a small island and they seem to be catching more than just “Feels.”
The effects of the video take a trippy turn from Big Sean singing with parrots that have feathers that change colors to Katy Perry rolling around in a bunch of weeds.

Katy Perry recently put the breaks on her feud with Taylor Swift, but a career decision made before she waved the white flag could add just enough fuel to keep the drama burning a little while longer. The “Swish Swish” singer paired up with Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris for a new song called “Feels.” It also features Pharrell Williams and Big Sean.
On the heels of his messy breakup with Taylor, the DJ went on a nasty Twitter rant and called out his ex. He even dragged the infamous Katy/Taylor feud into the mix.
“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry,” Calvin wrote. “I won’t allow it.” Katy responded with a shady Hillary Clinton GIF and the Internet lived for it.
The latest collaboration was clearly recorded long before Katy called off the dogs and it’s being received as the perfect summer jam. At the same time, it’s almost impossible to ignore how the Calvin/Katy partnership began.

Forbes has dropped its list of the 100 highest earning celebrities in the last year. Working with gross, pre-tax income estimates, the publication has revealed who the best paid stars in the world are. While Sean “Diddy” Combs and Beyoncé were an unsurprising top two, there were a few unexpected entries on the list.
Selena Gomez’s obsession, The Weeknd, clocked in at number six thanks to streaming revenue and ticket sales. That might make Selena proud, but her pal Taylor Swift might be having a harder time with some of the rankings.
With $44 million, she clocked in at number 49 without a mega tour to propel her upward. But a familiar name is ahead of her by a few places; her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris out-earned her by $4.5 million. Taylor got a piece of that action, and maybe even helped increase his visibility through their messy breakup.
But at 49, there’s still quite a few names on the list below her. Taylor can take solace in the fact that she beat out her nemesis Katy Perry.
Katy Perry’s album may not feature any songs aimed at Taylor Swift, but she didn’t say anything about her upcoming collaboration with Calvin Harris. The DJ and Taylor’s ex-boyfriend announced his new album on Tuesday with a star-studded lineup that includes features from Big Sean, Kehlani and Ariana Grande.
Many expected a collaboration between Katy and Calvin after the dj ended his relationship with Taylor back in July 2016. After the dj exposed his ex on Twitter, Katy took a moment to tweet indirect messages about time being the ultimate truth teller and using a gif of Hillary Clinton in a very “I told you so” moment.

After revealing that his new single would feature Ariana Grande and Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris released his song “Heatstroke.” The song came around the same time the Cheat Codes dropped its collaboration with Demi Lovato.
Fans aren’t sure what’s happening with Calvin, as the producer has struggled to create a radio hit since Taylor Swift stopped writing for him. Hopefully, by relying on the talents of one of the biggest pop singers, Calvin can finally get his first top five Billboard single of 2017.
