Class Is In Session: Eager Student Camila Cabello Kicks Off Her Tour Opening For Bruno Mars featureCamila Cabello promised to take notes when it was announced that she was Bruno Mars’ opener for his new tour. But on the tour’s opening night, she first had to go out and prove she deserved to be there. The former Fifth Harmony member seized the opportunity and even played a little guitar on stage as she took the stage in San Jose, California.

Camila performed songs like “Bad Things” and “Crying in the Club” alongside a ton of unreleased songs from her upcoming album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.” She spent a lot of time chatting up the fans in attendance, showing that she’s got enough stage presence to carry a solo set.

Camila got a ton of love from her fans online, as well. She took to Twitter to share backstage footage from the concert and retweet some of the love she was getting from her followers.

With her tweet, Camila has joined that group.

Fifth Harmony for Billboard-1Fifth Harmony has a whole new outlook on its future in music now that Camila Cabello is gone. The ladies recently sat down with Billboard to talk about the dramatic end to their 2016 and how losing a member may have been the best thing for them.

“I get to sleep at night knowing we did everything in our power as friends, bandmates and human beings,” Normani Kordei says when the “Crying in the Club” singer’s name is brought up. With Ally Brooke Hernandez throwing in a quick comment about not being able to change people, it seems that the group is completely done with Camila.

“Let’s just say we’re in a better place now — there are no secrets in this circle,” Dinah Jane Hansen ends the conversation. Fast forward to the group releasing its first single since Camila’s departure, “Down.” Fans can expect a totally different girl group–one that has co-writing credits and has learned to take more control over its career after years of being told what to do. “We were little girls coming off of a TV show and had a team of people trying to sculpt us into something we weren’t,” Dinah says.

Camila Cabello Is Planning On Taking Notes While She Tours With Bruno Mars featureCamila Cabello made a big announcement Monday night. The former Fifth Harmony singer is opening for Bruno Mars on his next tour. Camila will join Bruno for a string of shows from July 20 in San Jose to August 22 in Pittsburgh.

“Every night I’m gonna be peering out from side stage trying to learn as much as I can,” Camila wrote in one tweet. In another, she continued, “For years I’ve looked up to Bruno as a vocalist, musician, entertainer and artist.”

Camila isn’t Bruno’s only opener that was just announced. She’s already trying to make plans to hang with Dua Lipa, Bruno’s other opener.

Camila Cabello Debuts A Trio Of Songs In ChicagoAll eyes were on Camila Cabello as she readied the release of her debut solo single, “Crying In The Club.” After it dropped, everyone continued to watch in anticipation of more music as the former Fifth Harmony member was billed for several summer festivals. Wishes were granted during Saturday night’s B96 Summer Bash in Chicago.

During her set, Camila premiered a handful of new songs: “OMG,” “I’ll Never Be The Same” and “Havana.” Each will likely appear on her debut solo album.
