Demi Lovato stopped by “The Ellen Degeneres” show to promote her new kids’ movie, “Smurfs: The Lost Village” on Wednesday. Demi didn’t spend a whole lot of time talking about “Smurfs,” and a lot of her appearance wasn’t exactly family friendly. After sharing some stories about her flailing efforts to housebreak her new dog and her love life, Demi dug in on the possibility of an R-rated “Camp Rock 3.”
“So, we want to come out with, like, an R-rated ‘Camp Rock 3,'” Demi told Ellen, who said she thought it was a good idea. “All of our fans have now grown up and so anybody that watched ‘Camp Rock’ is now older and can appreciate like an ‘American Pie’ version.”
Ellen asked if Demi would be cursing in this reboot. Demi said it was a possibility and Ellen asked if that’s something she enjoys doing.
“Everyday, all day,” Demi replied. “I am terrible at not cursing.” Demi said the five-minute interview of Ellen that didn’t include any swears was “the longest five minutes of my life.”
To test how blue Demi’s language can get, Ellen then had her play a game called “5 Second Rule,” in which a host had Demi and Ellen go head-to-head to list three dirty things in under five seconds. Demi struggled a bit with the concept, but was able to get out three slang words for “a woman’s private parts” before being asked to name three curse words.
Demi gets through the b-word before staring to say, “Cu…” and cutting herself off.
