Demi Lovato performed on Friday morning’s episode of “Good Morning America.” As part of the show’s summer concert series, Demi pulled out three of her latest hits and brought some musical guests to help her through it. Jax Jones and Cheat Codes made their way to the stage for “Instruction” and “No Promises,” respectively.
Demi performed her own anthem “Sorry Not Sorry” in between the two collaborations. The entire set could’ve been washed away with a nasty rainstorm, but she powered through just as her Lovatics did.

Cheat Codes recently stopped by iHeartRadio’s Most Requested Live with Romeo for a short interview. Naturally, the EDM trio was asked to dish on what it was like working with Demi Lovato on collaborative single “No Promises.” The duo had a few expectations, but discovering that Demi is funny was not one of them.
“She’s really fun, she loves to crack jokes when we’re performing with her,” the group’s Matt Russell says. Trevor Dahl interrupts to add that Demi is “really funny.”
“I didn’t know that about her,” Matt continues. “I knew she was cool, I knew she was sweet, but she’s got some jokes, man.”

Cheat Codes released the music video for its single with Demi Lovato, “No Promises,” Tuesday afternoon. The visual was long awaited since the song came out in March and fans are already dreaming up double-edged plot lines that lie under its intense cinematography.
There is a noticeably darker take to this video, which could hold symbolism that reflects Earth’s issues with water. The scenes seem to take place in a dystopian future where lakes turn to dust and leave behind dry, cracked mud. Throughout the visual, Demi and Cheat Codes dance in a desert with oil rigs serving as a backdrop.
