Once and Future Queen Marina Performs Acoustic Version of “Baby” with Clean Bandit

Marina AcousticMarina — who formerly performed as Marina and the Diamonds — just released the video for the acoustic version of “Baby,” her collab with Clean Bandit (this version is without Luis Fonsi). Compared to Marina’s older pop epics, this is controlled and straightforward stuff.

But “Baby” does have a catchy pop hook with some nice Latin and disco flavors. And, after all, it is just great to see Marina get back to making music.

Demi Lovato’s “Sober” Rebounds from Sales Slump to Rocket Back on to the Billboard Hot 100

Demi Lovato BillboardBillboard.com announced that Demi Lovato’s “Sober” has returned to the Billboard Hot 100 chart, after dipping and eventually falling off the chart over the last few weeks. The single has also now reached a new peak ranking of number 56; the song’s previous peak, when it was still in the Hot 100 the first time around, was number 58.

The single’s numbers were dramatically up in terms of both streams (up 199%) and downloads sold (up 1,095%), according to Nielsen Music.
