Lady Gaga’s political efforts are getting a little more direct. On Wednesday, Gaga’s recent criticism of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump extended to another GOP leader who is backing Donald. The Mother Monster tagged Nebraska’s senior Senator Deb Fischer in a tweet and questioned Deb’s courage and accused her of “supporting misogyny.”
According to a report from a Nebraska newspaper, Deb called for Donald to drop out of the race after a scandalous video of him was leaked. But Donald has not dropped out, and Deb has indicated that her call for him to step down never meant she wouldn’t vote Republican regardless of who the candidate is on election day. Despite Donald’s comments, which she called “disgraceful” and “unacceptable,” she said she agrees with him on key policy issues.
Gaga’s tweet takes Deb to task for the apparent flip-flop on demanding action from Donald, asking the politician if her courage has “faded” and asserting that her continued support for Donald is a danger to young American women.
It’s not the first time Gaga has gone at it with a high-level GOP politician on Twitter. She tagged former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in a tweet earlier this week.

Do you agree or disagree with Gaga’s criticism of Deb? Should she just stay out of it?
