Camila Cabello Reveals Why Halsey Is Featured On “Closer” Instead Of Her

Camila Cabello reveals why she turned down The ChainsmokersCamila Cabello stopped by “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” on Thursday to discuss her upcoming solo album. During the interview, the singer revealed why her recorded version of “Closer” by The Chainsmokers is not the version fans of the song are used to.

“I loved the song, but I had to turn it down ’cause I was with the group at the time and we were about to put an album out,” Camila revealed. Although The Chainsmokers were interested in collaborating with Camila, the group moved on to Halsey.

“I always tried to do my solo stuff off cycle, so that was like super on and so I had to say no,” Camila explained. With a bit of regret she added, “And then it was like the number-one song in the world.” The song was more than just number one, it ended up being nominated for a Grammy Award as well as winning a few Billboard Music Awards.

Alessia Cara Covers Frank Ocean For Elvis Duran

Alessia Cara Stops By Elvis Duran And The Morning ShowAlessia Cara stopped by the “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” on Monday to chat a bit about her huge, upcoming show at Radio City Music Hall. “It’s casual, whatever,” she joked. Alessia also talked about what it was like to perform at the recent iHeartRadio Music Festival and she was disappointed that she couldn’t see a lot of performers. She did, however, see Ariana Grande’s set and was blown away. “She’s always incredible,” Alessia admitted.

Later on in the interview, Alessia covered Frank Ocean’s “Ivy.” It was Elvis Duran’s hope that her cover would cause Frank to come in and cover one of Alessia’s songs in the future.

Demi Lovato Feels “Free” Following Wilmer Valderrama Breakup

Demi Lovato Is Free on Elvis DuranDemi Lovato did something that apparently not many musicians currently on tour do. She sat down for a radio interview. The singer appeared on the “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” for a sexually charged interview on Wednesday morning in which she discussed what her life is like as a single woman.

“My life is in the middle of a lot of changes right now,” she responds when asked about life on the road versus life at home. “I don’t really have a house like at this moment, so I’m actually kind of like living out of a suitcase.”

The singer’s explanation may sound sad, but she assures listeners that she is in a much happier place. “I feel really amazing,” she adds. “I’m growing and it’s new and fresh and I feel free.”
