Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles were two of the artists who had the honor of celebrating Fleetwood Mac on Friday night. The 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year event celebrated the band’s accomplishments with a slew of performances, two of which came from Miley and Harry.

Fleetwood Mac is the first band to be honored with the MusiCares Person of the Year Award, and it’s no surprise that Harry Styles is on the bill. But the Fleetwood Mac mega-fan is coming to the stage alongside some surprising acts. Harry will have the chance to turn some of Taylor Swift’s squad away from the dark side as he performs with Lorde and Haim.
Harry Styles stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge for his first-ever solo performance there. Harry re-visited his old One Direction haunt on his own, and was apparently feeling nostalgic–just not for 1D.
The singer brought a cover of “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac. Harry is perhaps the world’s most famous Stevie Nicks stan, so it’s no surprise that he took on the track. Harry has settled in nicely with a five-piece band who had no trouble recreating Fleetwood Mac’s layered harmonies.
Stevie isn’t the only queen Harry paid tribute to during his performance. Rihanna got the royal treatment as Harry took on her summer 2017 bop with DJ Khaled, “Wild Thoughts.” Harry seemed to especially enjoy singing the line, “I know you want to see me naked,” even though he couldn’t give it as much flair as Rihanna.
Harry also brought two of his own tracks to the set: lead single “Sign of the Times” and rumored Taylor Swift relationship retrospective “Two Ghosts.”
