Paris Jackson has incredible stamina when it comes to shutting down Twitter trolls. After calling out a Kendall Jenner hater, Paris had to spend Saturday night defending herself as trolls showed up to comment on her appearance–and her look–at the 2017 GLAAD Awards.
Formerly known as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, GLAAD amplifies the LGBT community’s voices in order to create better representation in the media. Paris attended their awards show in order to present the award for “Outstanding Comedy Series.” But television critics weren’t the ones who had something to say about Paris being there.
Paris wore a sheer gown with a rainbow peacock motif. The look made her blue eyes pop as she accessorized with simple jewelry and put her intricate tattoos on display. Someone had a sarcastic retort when Paris tweeted that “there’s no compliment as special” as someone sincerely telling her she’s grown.
When a user replied back–complete with a glaring typo–that she had “[p]ut on a little weight,” Paris confirmed that fact with pride. Another user accused Paris of being selfish, Paris listed off her activist causes to shut them down.
