After All The Teasing, Selena Gomez’s “Fetish” Video Proves She’s A Real Freak

After All The Teasing, Selena Gomez's Fetish Video Proves She's A Freak featureFor a while there, it looked like Selena Gomez’s fetish was teasing her fans. But like any good dominatrix, all that teasing has finally paid off and the music video for “Fetish” has finally dropped.

In it, Selena is living out her late-’70s aesthetic dreams as the only resident of a creepy deserted suburban neighborhood. Based on a smoking car and a running sprinkler, the abandonment seems recent, and Selena also appears to be living on her own due to the recent departure of everyone else from this idyllic middle American dreamscape.

Alone inside a suburban home, Selena finds the time to spit out gummy bears, eat some soap and use an eyelash curler on her tongue. After dealing with a pretty serious leak in her ceiling during dinner, Selena takes a break from writhing around in her groceries on the floor to visit the world’s spookiest walk-in freezer, where Gucci Mane drops his featured verse.

The visual feels like Selena’s latest attempt to assert herself as a serious, Lorde-style artist. While it maintains some of the tongue-in-cheek humor of the “Bad Liar” video, “Fetish” feels like a much harder attempt at the alt pop dream girl vibes Selena is trying to serve up.

Selena Gomez’s “Fetish” Apparently Involves An Oral Fixation

Selena Gomez's Fetish Is Apparently Her Own Mouth featureSelena Gomez dropped another new single on Wednesday. Following on her ambitious “Bad Liar” music video, the singer released another video for the new track. While it’s billed as the “Audio” of the song, the vid is much more than a static shot of the cover art. It’s a close-up on Selena’s mouth as she sings the entire song. The sensual imagery is a good fit for the new song’s slow jam sexuality.

The video features Selena wearing the same earrings she’s been sporting in the hazy, suburban promo pics for the single. She plays with her lips while serving up her coyest come-hither glances in the few moments when her eyes appear on the screen. The visual looks like a good fit for MTV or an S&M club.

The new track puts Selena at odds with her old pal Demi Lovato, who dropped an anthem called “Sorry Not Sorry” on Tuesday. The former friends look like they’ll be battling it out for chart positions in the coming days.

Hear Selena’s “Fetish” and take a good long look at her lips in the video below.

Fifth Harmony Is Waiting For You In A Sleazy Motel Room In Down Music Video featureFifth Harmony dropped the new video for its single on Thursday morning. The video features some provocative fashion, but the girls are looking good as a four-piece. And the ladies managed to get the video’s product placement out of the way early. The group’s most impressive feat seems to be that no one fell down during the shoot.
