Katy Perry was honored with the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award at UNICEF’s annual Snowflake Ball Tuesday evening in New York. The singer’s humbling accomplishment came with an even bigger surprise. In a rare post-presidential election appearance, Hillary Clinton dropped by to present Katy, and avid supporter of her campaign, with the special UNICEF award.

Like many celebs, Ariana Grande wasn’t happy with Tuesday night’s election results or the fact that Florida just about sealed the deal on Donald Trump’s win. The singer watched the Election Day coverage from a recording studio wearing a sweatshirt in support of Hillary Clinton.
Jennifer Lawrence made one last effort to get out the vote on Election Day. The actress found a way to campaign in the crucial swing state of North Carolina, and she didn’t even have to be there. Jennifer’s boyfriend, director Darren Aronofsky, used his phone to let voters at Duke University FaceTime with Jennifer as he offered them a ride to the polls.
“I just casually FaceTimed with Jennifer Lawrence,” one Duke student wrote with a photo of Darren holding a phone with Jennifer’s face on it. “Darren Aronofsky is the man.”
Darren, a Hillary Clinton supporter, was on campus from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, offering people rides to the polls. Hillary lost the state to Donald Trump.

Lady Gaga is one of many celebrities disappointed with the presidential election. She had been passionately campaigning for Hillary Clinton up to the eleventh hour, but the country voted Donald Trump into office. The result pushed Lady Gaga to make a powerful choice that lead her to the foot of Trump Tower in New York City. She peacefully protested his win, but it read less like a protest and more like an inspirational message. The singer, with a “Love Trumps Hate” sign in hand, stood in front of Trump’s hotel and shared the moment on Instagram.
“I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness,” she writes in the caption. “#LoveTrumpsHate He divided us so carelessly. Let’s take care now of each other.”
Upon Trump’s win, Lady Gaga also changed her Twitter name from #VoteHillary to #CountryOfKindness. She, like many others, are stressing the power of love and American unity.

The 2016 presidential election took place on Tuesday night and brought out a lot of emotions for many U.S. citizens including the celebrities that have campaigned so hard for Hillary Clinton. While Donald Trump celebrates the night’s shocking win, many celebs took to social media to share their disappointment with the decision.
Demi Lovato is probably regretting prematurely announcing her desire to steer clear of social media to focus on being a humanitarian. The singer has once again put her foot in her mouth thanks to one tweet.
With Tuesday being Election Day, many celebrities have been making one final push to persuade their followers to get out and vote. Throughout the day, Demi has been sharing why she is voting for Hillary Clinton in this year’s election, but things quickly took an offensive turn. “
#IVotedBecause I believe in equality, we need comprehensive immigration reform, I am pro-choice and global warming IS real. #ImWithHer,” she tweeted.
In a now deleted tweet, Demi tried to make a joke referencing Donald Trump’s “grab her by the pu**y” comment, but she quickly remembered that sexual assault isn’t a joke. As someone who has been in many Twitter scandals, Demi should know that no matter how fast she is with the delete button, someone will always be quicker at taking a screenshot.
