Taylor Swift is well-known for her slippery tongue. Whether she’s getting caught talking to Kanye West or throwing shade at Ed Sheeran, Taylor always has a lot to say, even if she’s subtle about how she says it. Taylor isn’t just known for words; there’s a certain unlucky number she uses a lot, too.
The number 13 is lucky for Taylor. She was born on December 13, 1989, and she uses 13 in everything. It’s in her Twitter handle, but it’s also where she pauses all of the songs she posts on Instagram.
Taylor worked 13 into her duet with Zayn Malik, too. “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” which was recorded for the “Fifty Shades Darker” soundtrack, features one line 13 times. Taylor co-wrote the song and a close listen to the music video reveals that “until you come back home” is repeated 13 times in the track. The last one barely make it under the wire.
