Miley Cyrus thinks her fans are “beautifully THE BEST!” She said as much in a new Instagram post, in which she shared a video her fans made for her. The video features some of Miley’s super Smilers passing around the lyrics to her violin-heavy ballad, “Inspired.” It was a special surprise for the singer, and it hit her right in the feels.
“This #Inspired video you all made makes my heart melt !!! (I cried),” she wrote in a caption on the post. The short video even featured Miley’s signature balloons from her “Malibu” video. But it wasn’t the only emotional fan video for “Inspired” Miley was touched by.
She shared another video from fans. In it, fans held up signs to share what they were inspired by. Fans filled in the blank with Miley, her music and her Happy Hippie Foundation.

Miley Cyrus took over on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” Wednesday evening. After fan videos of Miley and Jimmy singing in a New York subway surfaced, the official version of the undercover underground performance came out with Miley’s episode.
Jimmy looked like he was wearing a Billy Ray Cyrus costume as he and a dark-haired Miley hit the subway station under Rockefeller Center for a performance of “Jolene,” “Party in the U.S.A.” and “We Can’t Stop.” Despite her best efforts to hide behind a wig and some sunglasses, New Yorkers seemed to recognize Miley’s distinctive voice right away–or maybe all of the professional camera men was a giveaway.
On Jimmy’s couch later, Miley explained that it was actually her first time in a New York subway station. She even had a little trouble with the turnstile like a real tourist. But new experiences like that weren’t all that was on Miley’s mind when she sat down with Jimmy. She also discussed breaking some of her old habits. Namely, she talked about quitting weed.
Miley Cyrus promised to return to her country roots and now she’s delivered with her second single. “Inspired” marks a complete 180 from Miley’s party anthems and even from her first new song this year, “Malibu.” The latest track is an overt country ballad, complete with wholesome, encouraging and, above all else, forced lyrics.
She decided to surprise release “Inspired” in “celebration of #Pride and the desperate cry for more love in this world.” She will be donating proceeds to her own Happy Hippie Foundation to keep fighting the good fight
It’s a snooze, but she warned us. Miley debuted “Inspired” during a recent performance on “TODAY.” She also performed it at Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester benefit concert, where the song’s message was truly appreciated.
