Miley Cyrus has described on more than one occasion how connected she felt to her friend, former Voice contestant Janice Freeman, who died tragically at the age of 33 from a blood clot. aAnd the Freeman family acknowledged that bond when they invited Miley and her father Billy Ray Cyrus to perform at Janice’s “Celebration of Life” memorial services yesterday.
However, when she got up on stage, Miley could not contain her grief and became so emotional heading into the a performance of “Amazing Grace” that the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer had to ask her father to sing the hymn.
