Why Is Demi Lovato Begging People To Cover “Confident”?

Demi Lovato Really Wants Someone To Cover Confident featureDemi Lovato’s still working off of her old music. Just after performing “Confident” at the Time 100 Gala, Demi’s now asking fans to submit covers of the song for a new, Ryan Seacrest-produced YouTube series called “Best. Cover. Ever.” The new competition hosted by Ludacris gives fans a chance to meet artists whose songs they cover.

Demi jumped in front of the world’s worst green screen for a special video call for submissions. In it, Demi revealed that the winner earns a trip to L.A. to perform with her and will appear in an exclusive YouTube video. Ryan added that submitted covers should be as original as possible and it seems like bonus points go to unexpected genres and styles.
