Beyoncé Is Getting Sued Again Over A Few Seconds Of A Three-Year-Old Music Video

Beyonce Is Getting Sued Over For A Few Seconds Of A Three-Year-Old Music Video featureA new lawsuit has been filed against Beyoncé. According to TMZ, the case alleges that the singer used the Roc-A-Fella Records logo in her 2013 music video for the song “Drunk in Love” without permission. The logo’s designer takes issue with the logo he designed for Jay-Z’s record label appearing on a piece of jewelry Jay-Z is wearing in the visual.

The logo for Roc-A-Fella Records appears for a few short seconds, but that’s enough for its designer, Dwayne Walker, to file a case that the clips be removed and he be awarded financial damages. The case rests on shaky ground given the fact that Jay-Z has already beaten Dwayne in court in a separate case about whether or not Dwayne even has rights to say he created the logo.

It’s not the first–or second–lawsuit Beyoncé’s faced in the 2016, but with New Year’s Day looming, it could be the last.

Check out the “Drunk in Love” video below and see if you can spot the logo after the five-minute mark in the video.
