DNCE Tries To Revive “Kissing Strangers” With Its Long-Promised Music Video

DNCE Releases Kissing Strangers Music VideoDNCE had been promising the arrival of a “Kissing Strangers” music video for what felt like an eternity. Despite the song’s lack of radio success, Joe Jonas, Cole Whittle, Jack Lawless, JinJoo Lee and collaborator Nicki Minaj have now followed through with the release of a fitting visual counterpart. A house party, creepy encounters with strangers and odd sexual tension between Joe and Nicki all appear in the clip.

The video starts with Cole finding love in a convenience store photo booth while Joe stocks up on condoms, booze and general party supplies a few aisles away. The two take off to attend a vintage rager with 7 Minutes in Heaven—played by JinJoo—and strip poker—enjoyed by Jack. As to be expected, dogs make up a solid majority of the party guests.

Check out “Kissing Strangers” below and let us know if you think it was worth the wait.

DNCE Gets Some Help Promoting “Kissing Strangers” From Famous Friends

DNCE Gets Some Help Promoting Kissing Strangers From Famous Friends featureDNCE is getting serious about promoting its new single, “Kissing Strangers.” The collab with Nicki Minaj got a ton of very conveniently timed love from the group’s famous friends on Twitter on Monday night. An onslaught of verified Twitter accounts tweeted about the track within a few hours of each other, and the band’s account retweeted XX tweets sharing the love.

“Modern Family” stars Ariel Winter and Sarah Hyland had love and fire emojis to share for the track, respectively. Sophie Turner’s “Game of Thrones” co-star Maisie Williams joined the fun, too. Other celebs like Nina Dobrev, Laura Marano and Joe Jonas’ Guess ad co-star Charlotte Mckinney all got their tweets out.

The flood of tweets almost seemed like it was coordinated, especially as the string of retweets ended with a teaser clip for the group’s new music video for the song. Hopefully, everyone got what they wanted from the high-volume promotional effort.

Check out the celeb tweets below, plus see the new teaser for another “Kissing Strangers” video.

DNCE Performs At GLAAD Awards, Cole Whittle Gets His Nipples Pinched

DNCE Performs At GLAAD Awards, Cole Whittle Gets His Nipples PinchedThe 2017 GLAAD Media Awards were held Saturday night and DNCE delighted the crowd as the official headlining act.  Joe Jonas, Cole Whittle, JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless were still serving up “Cake by the Ocean,” but the bandmates also brought along their latest single, “Kissing Strangers.

Since any night with DNCE can’t go off without at least one strange moment, Cole left the stage during “Cake by the Ocean” after spotting Debra Messing in the crowd. The actress, one of the night’s honorees, grinded with the DNCE bassist and even pinched his nipples, which Cole was definitely not opposed to.

DNCE Invades New York With A Mariachi Band

DNCE Invades New York With A Mariachi BandFor a band like DNCE, there is no holiday too big or too small to use as an excuse for odd publicity. Just one day after a bizarre tribute to “Star Wars” day, Joe Jonas, Cole Whittle, Jack Lawless and JinJoo Lee were up and at ‘em for Cinco de Mayo. The band members linked up with a mariachi band and took to the streets of New York City for “Kissing Strangers” serenades.

The whole gang, sombreros and all, piled into a van to surprise unsuspecting city dwellers. The recently released track received a brassy remix that Joe, Cole, Jack and JinJoo were eager to present.

DNCE’s JinJoo Lee Supports Gal Pal JoJo At Sold-Out Show In NYC

DNCE's JinJoo Lee Supports Gal Pal JoJo At Sold Out New York Show featureJinJoo Lee remains a super fan of her old boss JoJo. The duo reunited in Brooklyn, where JoJo was playing a sold out show as part of her “Mad Love Tour.” JoJo welcomed her old guitarist backstage for a couple of pics at the New York concert hall.

JinJoo was apparently overwhelmed by the concert as she tweeted about crying during JoJo’s set. A mix of pride and joy at seeing JoJo “livin her dream” had JinJoo in feelings for the night. JoJo had just as much love for her JinJoo as she welcomed Remy Ma to the stage.

All the lady love came on the heels of one fan asking JoJo about her sexuality. In a tweet on Tuesday morning, JoJo said that she can’t see herself “in a relationship with another woman,” but didn’t rule it out, either.

“Never say never I guess,” JoJo wrote.

See all the posts from JoJo and JinJoo below, plus watch as Remy takes the stage with JoJo at Irving Plaza.

DNCE Charters A Dirty Skywriter To Announce Coachella Arrival

DNCE Charters A Dirty Skywriter To Announce Coachella ArrivalNot getting an invite to perform at Coachella for the second year in a row didn’t stop DNCE from stealing the show and making a ridiculously bizarre grand entrance. Joe Jonas, Cole Whittle, Jack Lawless and JinJoo Lee upped the ante from “Kissing Strangers” to demanding that the tens of thousands of festivals guests get laid.

The DNCE crew had a plane—an actual plane—fly over the desert with a banner that read “EVERYONE MUST GET LAID.” To avoid any confusion, they made sure it was signed with the band name.

Granted, Joe and Cole both quickly took responsibility anyway. “A gift for Coachella,” Joe wrote on Instagram. Cole’s post made it loud and clear that the festival “gift” was to announce the band’s arrival. “Coachella. We are here,” he wrote.

Leave it to DNCE to once again prove that if you can’t join ‘em, beat ‘em.
