DNCE Sets Its Sights On High-Profile Collaborators For Upcoming Project

DNCE Covers September Issue Of LegendDNCE landed the September cover of Hong Kong’s #legend magazine. The quirky bandmates discussed everything from inspirations and influences—mainly Prince and other heroes who aren’t so much musicians, but rather their own “world for an hour,” according to Cole Whittle—to the power of technology and who they’ve set their eyes on for next year’s dream collaboration.

While DNCE was able to work with Nicki Minaj this year on “Kissing Strangers,” a few different artists could be in the works for the band’s next collaboration.

“Oh, man, how can we top this year with Nicki Minaj?” Jack pondered. “Maybe Paul McCartney or Jeff Lynne?”

Jack, Cole, Joe Jonas and JinJoo Lee also spent a lot of time gushing over a few K-pop artists. So if they can’t snag Paul or Jeff, they might have a solid alternative in store.

Lady Gaga, Zac Efron And More Stars Watch The Sun Lose Its Shine During The Solar Eclipse

Lady Gaga, Zac Efron And More Stars Watch The Sun Lose Its Shine During The Solar Eclipse featureThe total solar eclipse that was visible across much of the United States captured the nation’s attention on Monday. While Joe Jonas and DNCE took to the high seas to celebrate with a very special performance, other celebs took a chance to witness the once-in-a-lifetime spectacle from wherever they were.

In a pic she shared via Instagram, Lady Gaga had “Take me to your planet” written on the palms of her hands as she raised them to the sky. The extraterrestrial vibes of the cosmic phenomenon was something Gaga’s pal Kesha tried to capitalize on for a little album promotion, too.

Other celebs were a little more down-to-earth. Zac Efron showed off safety glasses while Bella Hadid posted a pic her mom, Yolanda Hadid, enjoying the spectacle. Meanwhile, Bella’s big sister Gigi Hadid posted a screenshot giving people a chance to reflect on the current political situation.

Check out posts about the eclipse from stars below.
