Leave it to Lady Gaga to one-up the head-scratching new trend of boutique tour merchandise. The singer has unveiled her line behind the upcoming “Joanne World Tour” using a high fashion lookbook. In partnership with London-based creative studio Lobster eye and merch company Bravado, the singer lays out the tour apparel in a series of eccentric photos.
“We had total freedom as for what to do and which direction to take,” Tania Scheglova and Roman Noven of Synchrodogs tell Women’s Wear Daily. “We had a colorful and wild aesthetic in mind, and we saw it as a project that would look strong both as a whole, asme as if every picture was observed separately. We wanted every picture to convey something unexpected to some extent.”
The team of collaborators combined natural and artificial elements to achieve a cohesive collection worthy of Lady Gaga’s quirkiness. While the actual tour merch is paired with high-end pieces for the photographs, fans shouldn’t worry about price. Lady Gaga’s tour apparel falls in the more affordable range beginning at $30 and capping out at $100.
