Ariana Grande looked like a glamorous shower puff in the “Beauty and the Beast” music video released on Sunday. The singer appeared in the visual for the upcoming live-action Disney film along with John Legend whose outfit was a lot more appealing to look at than Ariana’s.
While Ariana and John’s version will never come close to being as great as Celine Dion’s iconic version the two did a good job revamping the Oscar-winning song.
Emma Watson and the rest of the “Beauty and the Beast” cast hit the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere on Thursday. It wasn’t just the cast that came out to celebrate the live-action Disney film, John Legend, Matt Damon and Celine Dion were all present at the star-studded event.
Emma has been busy promoting the upcoming film as the perfect feminist Disney movie, but was recently criticized for her Vanity Fair cover story. The actress appeared topless in one of the photos and received some backlash as a result.

Ariana Grande and John Legend lent their voices to the soundtrack for Disney’s live-action remake of “Beauty and the Beast.” Their duet was somewhat shrouded in secrecy until the release of the final trailer. Ariana and John did, in fact, tackle the film’s iconic theme song and fans can finally hear a preview in the latest teaser. Their voices blend to create powerful harmonies as they go back and forth between verses, which produces a fresh take on the classic song.

Ariana Grande is entering into a proud tradition. Like Demi Lovato before her, Ariana will be singing the theme song for a Disney movie for its official soundtrack. In a sneaky Instagram post, Ariana hinted that she’s joining John Legend on a track for the upcoming “Beauty and the Beast” remake starring Emma Watson.
The new photo features Ariana in a recording booth wearing some high-quality headphones. While she doesn’t give any details about what she’s up to in the caption, the tags on the photo provide some serious clues as to what’s going on. The “Dangerous Woman” tagged John and the movie’s official Instagram account. The film regrammed her pic, basically confirming that Ariana is on board with the project.
If she does end up taking on the the theme for the Disney film, her recording would probably run over the end credits of the movie. That’ll mean some big shoes to fill for the pint-sized pop star. In the 1991 animated adaptation, the end credits song duties were handled by Céline Dion.
Whatever happens, hopefully nobody tries to make a doll out of Ariana.
