Charlie Puth was in Miami as part of his ongoing “We Don’t Talk Tour,” and he broke a few hearts when he dedicated one of his songs to a late athlete. Charlie’s song “See You Again” featuring Wiz Khalifa was used in several memorial videos for deceased Miami Marlins pitcher José Fernández, and Charlie dedicated his performance of the song in Miami to the late baseball player.
Several fans at the show tweeted out their live reactions as it sounds like Charlie set off the waterworks at The Fillmore in Miami Beach. Charlie took to Twitter after the show to explain why it felt right to dedicate “See You Again” to José.
