Noah Cyrus sat down with The Fader for an interview about her fledgling music career. In it, the “Make Me (Cry)” singer expressed that she’s low key dreading the day when her career rockets her into the kind of media speculation and criticism through which her big sister, Miley Cyrus, has lived.
“I’m obviously really sensitive to that stuff,” she says when asked about Miley’s authenticity issues. “That made me sad when people were being awful to her through the media. I hated that — she is who she is, and that’s what I want for her. I get a little nervous for when that time will come. I mean, I’m not going to sit and worry on it, but I know it’ll happen.”
For the most part, it seems like Noah has been following Miley’s advice about avoiding the commentary in the news and on social media, but she did offer up a few insights about what people say about her.
