Lady Gaga Doesn’t Look Impressed With Her Performance During “A Star Is Born” Filming In L.A.

Lady Gaga Filming For 'A Star Is Born' In LALady Gaga was seen filming for her upcoming movie–and not just at Coachella. She was spotted filming a scene for the movie in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Paparazzi snapped the Mother Monster running and re-running a scene as she inhabited a character very different from the one she plays on stage.

Gaga’s long brown hair was understated, as was her dark look. The only thing that really popped about the costume was a lot of midriff and a choker.

The movie will keep her busy for a while as fans ponder when–or if–a “Joanne” tour will happen.

Lady Gaga And Prince William Get Face To Face To Discuss Mental Health

Lady Gaga and Prince William meet up on FaceTimeLady Gaga and Prince William have joined forces via FaceTime to help raise awareness about mental health with Prince William’s Heads Together campaign. The singer has been very open about her own mental health issues and dealing with PTSD and Prince William’s brother Prince Harry has recently started talking about how he coped with his mother’s death.

“There’s a lot of shame attached to mental illness. You feel like something it’s wrong with you,” Lady Gaga says in the video released early Tuesday morning. “Even though it was hard, the best thing that could come out of my mental illness was to share it with other people and let our generation as well as other generations know that if you are feeling not well in your mind, you are not alone.”

“Just having a conversation with a friend or family member can make such a difference,” Prince William adds. The prince requested the singer’s help in his initiative to raise awareness after reading the letter she wrote about her sexual assault at the age of 19.

Lady Gaga Premieres New Single, “The Cure,” At Coachella

Lady Gaga Premieres The Cure At CoachellaAfter Beyoncé’s pregnancy announcement and a resulting Coachella postponement, Lady Gaga was asked to take over Bey’s headlining slot at this year’s festival. She knew she had big shoes to fill and pulled out all the stops. Mother Monster took the stage Saturday night for a 20-track set with song choices spanning her entire career, including a new single titled “The Cure.”

Compared to what Lady Gaga showed fans with “Joanne,” this new song is unexpectedly relevant to the mainstream’s obsession with synth-pop club music. The singer did find a way to tie the surprisingly current track into her typical mantra. “You cure me every time with your love,” she told the Coachella crowd as she thanked her fans for getting her through difficult times.

The dynamic set continued and, likely out of respect for Beyoncé and any possible disappointed fans, Lady Gaga decided to perform “Telephone.” The rendition almost read as a moment of silence to fill the Queen Bey void as Lady Gaga steered clear of the mic during Beyoncé’s part of the song.

Check out a few videos from Lady Gaga’s Coachella set below. She returns for round two next weekend.

Tiffany & Co. Spokeswoman Lady Gaga Loves Being Unexpectedly Elegant

Lady Gaga Loves Being Unexpectedly Elegant featureLady Gaga is staying busy. Even though she hasn’t been super active promoting her music, her latest interview gives Gaga a chance to speak on the other big part of her art: her style. Gaga spoke with Vanity Fair about being the face of Tiffany & Co.’s new jewelry line.

“It’s different and elegant,” Gaga said of the new “HardWear” collection. “But it’s not what you would expect of elegance. That’s like me I think—I’m a bit different.” Who does Gaga credit for helping her discover her unique fashion sense?

“I’m so fascinated with my mother as a style icon,” she said. “She handled our life, and my father’s life, with so much dignity and grace. She carries whatever she wears like a queen. My mother has this undeniable ability to lead with kindness—it’s her strength, stealth, and power.”

Gaga also sat down to hype the new jewelry in a video for Tiffany. She discussed “the misconception” that a woman can’t buy her own jewelry and “put it on with dignity.”

The new line, which was “inspired by a unisex design from 1971″ according to Tiffany’s site, seems like it would be right at home at a swanky cocktail party or on stage at a drag show. It might even be hardcore enough for a Metallica concert.
