Lady Gaga Sashays With The Best Of Them On “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Premiere

Lady Gaga On RuPaul's Drag RaceThe new season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” kicked off Friday night and Lady Gaga had the pleasure of being the first celebrity guest. Mother Monster’s appearance was definitely better than Gigi Hadid’s last season, but that doesn’t really say much. The singer’s energy and attitude fit right in with the competition right from the start. She entered as “Ronnie,” a Lady Gaga impersonator, and waited for the queens to figure out who she really was.

Laughter and sass was shared in full, but Lady Gaga’s time on the show also heightened by emotions. One queen was brought to tears while praising Lady Gaga for her ability to save lives and inspire. The singer gave candid, heartfelt advice throughout the episode.

BBC Explains Reason For Removing Lady Gaga’s LGBTQ Lyrics From TV Shows

Lady Gaga lgbtq lyrics removed from bbc showBBC found itself on the receiving end of public backlash after the network cut out a lyric from Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” twice. The incident happened during BBC’s “Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief” televised event where the hosts of “The One Show” performed the song without the “gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life” line.

As you can imagine, viewers were upset by the empowering lyric being taken out and BBC issued a statement claiming that the song was cut due to restricted timing. “It is standard procedure to edit down music tracks to fit into the running time of the show,” BBC News reports.

Earlier this month, BBC show “Let It Shine” caught some heat after removing the same lyric from a semi-finalist’s performance as well as Lady Gaga’s line “Don’t be a drag, just be a queen.” The network used the same time restraint excuse for removing the lyrics.

Check out the footage below.

What do you think of BBC’s decision to remove the pro-LGBTQ lyrics from its televised shows?

Katy Perry, Adele, Lindsay Lohan And More Celebrate International Women's DayStars are taking to social media to celebrate International Women’s Day. The special day is a global effort to recognize all of the work women do and marks the anniversary of a women’s march on Petrograd in 1917, leading to the Russian Revolution. Spearheaded now by the United Nations, the worldwide effort is coinciding this year with a general strike by women in America protesting President Donald Trump.

Katy Perry stepped up to the plate to offer up ways to get politically active for the day. She even offered alternatives to striking for those who can’t afford to take the day off work. Wearing the color red in solidarity or avoiding purchases can be visible, tangible ways to offer support.

An Atlanta Falcons Player Blames Lady Gaga For The Team’s Super Bowl LI Loss

Lady Gaga Heads To Yoga In LALady Gaga was spotted heading to an appointment in Los Angeles early Saturday morning. The singer was dressed in a loose white sweater with black pants and heels, not really yoga attire.

Atlanta Falcons player Mohamed Sanu recently spoke to NFL Network’s Good Morning Football and alleged that the singer’s unusually long halftime performance contributed to the Falcons’ surprising loss to the New England Patriots. ““It definitely did,” the footballer told the host.

While past Super Bowl halftime shows last 15 minutes before players are back on the field, the singer received 30 minutes–not counting set up and take down time. “Usually, halftime is only like 15 minutes, and when you’re not on the field for like an hour, it’s just like going to work out, like a great workout, and you go sit on the couch for an hour and then try to start working out again,” he explained.
