Shia LaBeouf had to pull his protest live stream, HeWillNotDivide.US, offline again. His latest collaboration with Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner has gone dead at its brand new New Mexico location despite working closely with local police. Shia took to Twitter to share why the stream was down again, writing that it was due to gunshots reported nearby.
The project has already had some struggles with safety. Shia himself was arrested at the live stream’s original New York location after getting into a physical altercation with a counter-protestor. Since the recent move to New Mexico, vandals have already spray painted the installation. While critics have called what Shia is up to “treason,” he’s always dedicated to his art.
