Demi Lovato’s charitable side continues to shine bright, possibly more so than the release of a new song with Cheat Codes. The singer brought smiles to an entire room of children and teen patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles with a surprise visit Thursday afternoon. The visit was part of the hospital’s second annual Make March Matter campaign, which encourages the entire community to take action to provide top-notch care for its patients.
Demi’s surprise appearance was made more exciting with the addition of a special advanced screening of “Smurfs: The Lost Village.” The patients were blown away as Smurfette walked into the room with swag bags and ample opportunity for selfies.
“Smurfs: The Lost Village” arrives in theaters April 7.
