Lady Gaga Suffers Through More GRAMMYs Technical Issues With Metallica

Lady Gaga Suffers Through More GRAMMYs Technical Issues With Metallica moth into flame performanceLady Gaga joined Metallica on stage at the GRAMMYs Sunday night for a performance of the band’s song, “Moth Into Flame.” Aside from looking a little like a sequel to Miley Cyrus’ team-up with Billy Idol, the performance was marred by some technical issues–not the first the GRAMMYs had in the night.

But Gaga was nice enough to share her mic with Metallica’s James Hetfield, so the collaboration recovered in time for Gaga to live out her rock and roll fantasies. After all, it’s always easier to stage dive if you can control who’s in the front row at the show.

Gaga also ran into DNCE on her way out of the audience seating. After exchanging greetings with Joe Jonas and her old pal Cole Whittle, Gaga spotted JinJoo Lee in a crowd despite her blonde wig.

Lady Gaga Is Performing At The Grammys With A Very Unexpected Guest

Lady Gaga Is Performing At The Grammys With A Very Unexpected Guest- MetallicaLady Gaga has been announced as a performer for the 2017 Grammys. Hot off her Super Bowl Halftime Show and the announcement of her next world tour, the Recording Academy confirmed that she’ll take the stage at the annual music awards show. Unlike her halftime show, Gaga won’t be going solo. She’ll be joined by iconic rockers Metallica.

With 14 Grammys between the Mother Monster and the metal band, the performance could be a mashed up hit parade. Other than their packed trophy cases, the singer and the band have something else in common. Both have been involved in Grammy controversies in the past.

In 2016, Kanye West used Gaga as an example in a rant about how the Grammys changed the rules to make room for her. Metallica was on the other side of a similar issue when the band was famously snubbed in the first ever “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal or Instrumental” award in 1989.
