The 14 year-old girl that Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga was allegedly caught texting is lawyering up. TMZ reports that Molly O’Malia has hired Gloria Allred to represent her. This comes after a press conference was held to detail just how Tyga reportedly got in contact with Molly.
The aspiring singer claims that Tyga was the first one to reach out in a direct message on Instagram, which she thought was going to be about her music. However, she says he didn’t mention her music, and instead asked her to FaceTime with him multiple times.
In her statement, Molly claims that she never gave OK! permission to use the alleged messages between her and Tyga. “I would never have allowed OK Magazine or any other magazine to use them,” she says. Molly ends her statement by saying, “I am speaking out today because I don’t want what happened to me to happen to any other young girls.”
In a letter sent to TMZ, Tyga’s manager has confirmed that the rapper did contact the 14 year old, but says it was “never romantic in nature.” He claims that Tyga was interested in signing her to Last Kings Records for a music project. According to TMZ, Molly originally led Tyga to believe she was actually 17.
