Selena Gomez is happy to be with new record label, Interscope Records, because now she can finally make the music she wasn’t allowed to make while signed to Hollywood Records.
“Good For You” featuring A$AP Rocky, is Selena’s first single for Interscope. The song reached No. 1 on iTunes in its first full day of release, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Digital Songs Chart and is now number 9 on Billboards Hot 100.
“On my previous albums I’ve attempted, and they’re like, ‘Aw, next album,’ or ‘Aw, you’re too young.’ And it’s fine. Obviously, it is kind of scary coming into my territory with my fan base, but for this record I’ve really kind of taken everything into consideration. I am becoming an adult, which is important,” she said.
