Despite various reports confirming Lady Gaga’s upcoming role as Donatella Versace in “American Crime Story” and the singer’s sudden interest in becoming the fashion icon, producer Ryan Murphy has announced otherwise. Ryan denied Lady Gaga’s involvement during Thursday’s Television Critics Association press tour. When asked if she would be playing Donatella as previously reported, the producer said, “No.”

Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” will be returning for a sixth season. No word yet on who will be joining the cast next season, but many people are wondering if Lady Gaga will be coming back to the horror anthology series.
Lady Gaga is currently starring in the current season, “American Horror Story: Hotel,” which is still filming. Her performance as The Countess has also earned her a People’s Choice Award nomination for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actress.
The singer posted a photo of herself with her dog on Twitter saying, “Just me and Fozzi Bear relaxin ready to watch some murder mysteries and learn lines.”
Could Lady Gaga be learning lines for the sixth season? Would you tune in to another season featuring Lady Gaga?

Ariana Grande appeared on “Live With Kelly and Michael” this morning to discuss working on “Scream Queens.” In the interview, Ariana admits she has always been into Halloween and scary things, but that “Scream Queens” was her first horror-related project. “I had never really done anything horror related,” she says. “I also love comedy so it was like the perfect mashup.”
About director Ryan Murphy she adds he was very “hands on” and “incredible.” The “One Last Time” singer’s character Chanel #2 appeared to have been murdered in the season premiere of the show, but Ryan has confirmed that Ariana will be back.

If the cast of FOX’s “Scream Queens” wasn’t big enough already, Ryan Murphy has added Patrick Schwarzenegger to the seemingly massive cast. The producer tweeted the news earlier today. Ryan didn’t offer many details, but E! News reports that Patrick will play “Thad Radwell,” the brother of the preppy boyfriend of Emma Roberts’ character, Chanel, and will make his “Scream Queens” debut in November.
Patrick will see a familiar face on set because he’s previously worked with Ariana Grande, playing her love interest in the music video for her song, “Right There.” No word, yet, on whether the two actors’ characters will share any screen time.
We also have no idea how well Patrick will do as an actor in his “Scream Queens” role, given his limited experience. Shouldn’t matter too much, though, given the cheesy nature of some of the footage we’ve seen leaked from the show so far …

“It’s similar to American Horror Story in that it’s anthological but different in that at the end of the first season there will only be four characters out of 25 left.”
Murphy, who directed the first hour of Scream Queens’ two-hour premiere, said that the four characters that survive Season 1 will continue to play the same characters when and if a likely second season is ordered.
Unfortunately, the fate of individual characters wont be selected by the show’s fans, and the untimely outcome of some fan faves are up to show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
“It’s sort of like a twist on American Horror Story: every season is a new season, a new setting, a new establishment — the difference being you will know some of the characters who will live,” said Murphy.
What does that mean for “One Last Time” singer Ariana Grande? Well, it means that she has a less than 20% chance to still be on the cast when the first season concludes. So those are pretty good odds that the pop diva may need to content herself with hitting the studio and recording some new music for the her upcoming third studio album, ‘Moonlight.’
Scream Queens will premiere on Tuesday, September 22 @ 8PM on Fox.
