Lady Gaga stopped by “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Tuesday morning. She talked Super Bowl buzz, physical training for touring and “Joanne,” her upcoming album. Aside from playing a stripped down, live version of “Perfect Illusion” and a snippet from the previously unheard “Just Another Day,” Gaga talked a lot about what went into Joanne. Like her other albums, “Joanne” was born out of an artistic concept coming through Gaga’s pop sensibilities.

During Thursday night’s live broadcast of the “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” rapper Wiz Khalifa dropped the F-word after he felt snubbed by Demi Lovato while trying to take a selfie.
With a few minutes left of 2015, host Ryan Seacrest began preparing for a countdown while Wiz unsuccessfully tried to take a photo of himself, Charlie Puth and Demi. When Ryan asked the rapper if he was thirsty, Wiz responded by saying, “I tried to take a pic with Demi, she wasn’t fucking with it.” Demi tried to defend herself, but Wiz wasn’t having it. The rapper defended his language via Twitter by calling the “Confident” singer shady.
Do you think Demi purposefully ignored Wiz Khalifa?

Yesterday, Alessia Cara spoke with Ryan Seacrest about her career, revealing how she went from making videos in her bedroom to hitting the Billboard charts. In the interview, the singer mentions in particular her cover of Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors” as an important career milestone. That cover was featured on Ryan’s website a few years back, and the attention that it got there marked the beginning of Alessia’s videos getting a wider audience.
Alessia goes on to say that she had been posting videos of her covers since she was 13 years old, but that the view counts didn’t start to rise until after the initial exposure that her Justin Timberlake cover received on Ryan’s site. However, Alessia identifies her subsequent cover of The Neighborhood’s “Sweater Weather” as the point when she began to realize that something bigger was happening.
Alessia also discusses her recently aired interview with Taylor Swift. Alessia admits that she got more than she expected when she first thought to approach Taylor “trying to get someone to interview me about my album.” Not only did Taylor agree to eventually do the interview, but she also invited Alessia to join her on stage.
At the end of her appearance, Alessia sang her hit single “Here,” as well as a cover of Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches.”

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, singer/songwriter Sia announced both a new single, “Alive,” and the name of her new album, “This Is Acting.” Sia described the album’s concept as being songs that were intended for other artists, but that were rejected.
“I’m calling it “This Is Acting” because they are songs I was writing for other people,” said the eccentric singer. “So I didn’t go into it thinking, ‘This is something I would say.’”
One of the performers who rejected Sia’s songs was Demi Lovato. “Demi Lovato did not reject a Sia track. Not allowed,” Ryan exclaimed. Apparently Demi must be feeling pretty “Confident” about her own songs these days …
Below you can check out a video of Ryan’s interview with Sia. And we also have a clip of Sia performing “Alive,” which was ultimately turned down by both Adele and Rihanna.

At one point during the interview, Selena says that she feels her image on the cover takes bit of its vibe from one her favorite 70’s singers, Linda Ronstadt. Ryan asks what her favorite Linda Ronstadt song is, and she pulls out her phone to search for the exact title. Selena then lights up and says, under her breath, that she just got a text from a cute guy.
Ryan and his co-host instantly start pushing Selena to dish on the mystery guy. But she keeps quiet, only admitting that that the guy has brown hair, “maybe.”
Was it a text from Nick Jonas? Does he even count as having hair at the moment?
In the interview Selena also touches on how Christina Aguilera influenced the album and shares a bit more about her secret Revival fan event.
