Shawn Mendes embarked on his world tour last night in Boca Raton, Florida. While many musicians stick to pre-show hype and general excitement, Shawn went the PSA route. The temperature broke triple digits with humidity, so the singer offered some parental advice to the night’s attendees. “It is stupid hot outside, please drink as much water as you can,” Shawn tweeted.
Aside from Shawn’s tweet, opening night seemed rather successful for the singer. He treated fans to song debuts, with one in particular standing out to fans called “Hold On.” It’s off of the new album and it was written with a friend coping with the loss of his father.
