Demi Lovato And Meghan Trainor Hit The Blue Carpet For “Smurfs” Premiere

'Smurfs: The Lost Village' PremiereDemi Lovato and Meghan Trainor both stepped up out in florals for the afternoon premiere of “Smurfs: The Lost Village.” Against a backdrop of families showing up to see the movie, Demi and Meghan hit the blue carpet with the cast of the film, including Ariel Winter.

Demi wore a floor-length look with strappy cutouts to match her sandals. She was all smiles, which is no surprise for someone who thought she’d never work again.

Meghan’s dress was cut just above the knee. The floral look might seem out of place in her usual wardrobe, but she brought some sequined boots to stay true to her trademark.

Neither the movie’s star singer nor the singing movie star brought a date to the premiere. Looks like Daryl Sabara and Guilherme Vasconcelos had other plans.

Demi Lovato: I Thought “I Wasn’t Going To Work Again”

At Her Worst, Demi Lovato Thought She Would Never Work Again featureDemi Lovato almost had an early retirement. In a new interview promoting the premiere of “Smurfs: The Lost Village,” Demi told Entertainment Tonight that, in her darkest moments, she didn’t know if she still going to have a future in the entertainment industry. “I went through a lot of stuff growing up, and I went through some challenges and some obstacles,” Demi said, responding to a question about blowing it in Hollywood. “And I felt like, at a period of time, I probably wasn’t going to work again. But as I overcame those struggles, I found my purpose through it all.”

Good Samaritan Demi Lovato Makes March Matter At L.A. Children’s Hospital

Good Samaritan Demi Lovato Makes March Matter At L.A. Children's HospitalDemi Lovato’s charitable side continues to shine bright, possibly more so than the release of a new song with Cheat Codes. The singer brought smiles to an entire room of children and teen patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles with a surprise visit Thursday afternoon. The visit was part of the hospital’s second annual Make March Matter campaign, which encourages the entire community to take action to provide top-notch care for its patients.

Demi’s surprise appearance was made more exciting with the addition of a special advanced screening of “Smurfs: The Lost Village.” The patients were blown away as Smurfette walked into the room with swag bags and ample opportunity for selfies.

Meghan Trainor Gets Turned Into A Smurf

Meghan Trainor Got Turned Into A Smurf featureMeghan Trainor was the victim of some photo magic that caused her to be transformed. The blonde singer looked totally blue thanks to a fan edit of a photo designed to put her at home in “Smurfs: The Lost Village.”

Meghan shared the image, writing that she wished it could be an alternate cover for her single, “I’m A Lady.” Meghan’s been hyping that track as a part of the soundtrack for the film.

Demi Lovato got the part as Smurfette, but it looks like Meghan would be a natural fit for the next installment.

Meghan Trainor Proves She’s A Lady By Dressing Up Like A Football Player

Meghan Trainor releases new music videoDemi Lovato may be starring as Smurfette in the upcoming “Smurfs: The Lost Village” film, but it is Meghan Trainor who is singing the film’s girl power anthem. The video features the singer and background dancers dressing up as athletes as she sings wearing what looks like the same location she filmed her video for “No.” We can’t spot any funky Photoshop this time around, however.
