Taylor Swift’s streaming reign has finally let up thanks to Drake. On Friday, the rapper released two new singles, “Diplomatic Immunity” and “God’s Plan,” with the latter becoming Spotify’s “most streamed track in a single day.” It took the record from Taylor’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Maybe Ed Sheeran should start his own streaming service. The singer has set another record on Spotify as 2017 comes to a close. According to Forbes, he has just become the first artist in history to register two songs with over a billion streams on the platform.

In the streaming service’s 2017 “Year in Music” report, Ed has been crowned as the year’s most streamed artist with the most streamed song and album. He even set a new all-time record for a song on Spotify.

The singer helped ensure her record-breaking sales figures by keeping the album off of streaming services for the rest of the month. That had executives stressing out, but everyone can finally take a deep breath. “Reputation” is now available for streaming.
