The Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS will be honoring the 40th anniversary of the “Saturday Night Fever” soundtrack with a special concert event dedicated to legendary disco band, the Bee Gees. Two days after the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards, “Stayin’ Alive: A GRAMMY Salute To The Music Of The Bee Gees” will be taped to be aired later this year. Nick Jonas, Grammy-nominated Demi Lovato and DNCE are among the list of scheduled performers.
Nick received virtually no recognition from the music industry after the release of “Last Year Was Complicated,” but his involvement in this event isn’t a surprise. After being snubbed by the prestigious award show, he took the high road and vocalized support for the Grammy Museum Giving fundraising campaign.
