Tori Kelly is currently on the UK leg of her “Unbreakable Smile Tour,” and she sat down for an interview on “Sunday Brunch” yesterday. The singer performed “Should’ve Been Us” before opening up about her connection with Britain, as well as getting and losing a record deal as a 12 year-old.
“There’s something about the connection with live music out here that seems to really catch on,” Tori says about why she’s had such a strong appreciation for working with UK artists like Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and James Bay.
She goes on to reveal what it was like to obtain a record deal at such a young age and how its eventual failure lead to her success.
