Joe Jonas Recreates GUESS Ad Campaign On “The Tonight Show”

Joe Jonas appears on the tonight showJoe Jonas appeared on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night to not only remind fans of the time he recreated Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” video, but also to recreate his steamy GUESS campaign.

Like many celebrities, the singer attended Super Bowl LI on Sunday night where he apparently made bets against both the New England Patriots and Lady Gaga that he lost. This brought up another Super Bowl bet Joe lost that forced him to wear a leotard and heels and dance along to one of Beyoncé’s biggest hits. “I never saw the video before shooting it, so I just watched it and tried to mimic what she was doing,” explained Joe.

While Joe didn’t squeeze into a leotard for a live rendition of “Single Ladies,” he did squeeze into a pair of GUESS undies to teach Jimmy how to pose in his underwear.

Before singing “Skidamarink” as Ariana, Alessia opened up about how she tweeted about her hopes of being on “SNL” back in 2012. She also predicted her appearance on “The Tonight Show,” so for her next prediction Alessia cast her hopes of being cast in an animated film out into the universe.

Hailee Steinfeld Reveals The Toxic Relationship That Inspired “Starving”

Hailee Steinfeld Reveals The Toxic Relationship That Inspired StarvingTuesday night’s episode of “The Tonight Show” included more than Louis Tomlinson’s U.S. televised solo debut. Host Jimmy Fallon also featured a segment called “Behind The Lyrics,” which finally provided fans with answers about the meaning of their favorite songs. DNCE clarified, jokingly, that “Cake By The Ocean” isn’t actually about sex at all. “It’s actually quite dark,” Joe Jonas says. “‘Cake By The Ocean,’ cake, frosting, icing, ice, iceberg, ocean. It’s about the Titanic.”

Hailee Steinfeld also came clean about what inspired the lyrics to “Starving,” her latest hit featuring Zedd and Grey. “There’s a line in ‘Starving’ that goes, ‘The more that I know you, the more I want to.’ I was really struggling to stay away from a relationship that wasn’t so great for me,” she says. “It was with The Cheesecake Factory.”

Hailee goes on to expand on that toxic relationship. “Have you seen their menus,” she scoffs. “They’re like phonebooks. How do you say no to that?” Hopefully Hailee can find another restaurant chain to inspire her to finish the album she’s been promising.

Louis Tomlinson Makes U.S. TV Solo Debut On “The Tonight Show”

Louis Tomlinson Makes U.S. TV Solo Debut FEATURELouis Tomlinson brought his debut solo single to TV last night when he appeared with his DJ collaborator Steve Aoki on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform “Just Hold On.” The duo were joined by a few other musicians behind electronic instruments as Louis powered through the hopeful song.

In a short, backstage interview, Louis also shared some of his craziest memories from touring. He explained that the One Direction boys used to have a habit of stealing golf carts for joy rides. Louis has said he’s working on more solo music, so any one booking him for gigs might want to keep an eye on their keys.

The TV debut sets the stage for Louis’ next move, whatever it may be. Not bad for a guy who was ready to quit music last year.

Check out Louis and Steve’s performance below, plus see their chat about crazy tour stories.
