A handful of people around the world might be finding themselves in a moral dilemma after Taylor Swift’s accused groper has now given his thoughts on her TIME Magazine feature. The DJ, David Mueller, says the pop star didn’t earn her slot on the powerful cover because her “silence breaker” status was court-ordered.

Demi Lovato has stayed quiet on politics for most of 2017. After being an avid Hillary Clinton supporter during the 2016 election, the singer has said surprisingly little about the Trump administration since gearing up for the release of her latest album.
That all changed on Wednesday, when Demi decided she need to call out TIME Magazine. Demi apparently has an issue with one of the selections in the 2017 “Person of the Year” issue. Despite their bad blood, Demi didn’t have anything to say about “silence breaker” Taylor Swift. Instead, she is taking issue with the first runner-up: President Donald Trump.
Sophie Turner’s “Game of Thrones” castmates are on the cover of the new Time Magazine. While Sophie didn’t make the cut, she did get a flashy glamor shot inside. She also got to address the most controversial scene from the series involving her character, Sansa Stark.
Sansa was the victim of a grisly rape in the last scene of a season five episode. Fans were especially upset because the attack never happened in the books the show is based on. As the show prepares for season seven, she opened up about her personal reaction to the controversy about the scene.
“This was the trending topic on Twitter, and it makes you wonder, when it happens in real life, why isn’t it a trending topic every time?” she asked. “This was a fictional character, and I got to walk away from it unscathed. Let’s take that discussion and that dialogue and use it to help people who are going through that in their everyday lives. Stop making it such a taboo, and make it a discussion.”
Sophie has been trying to do some advocacy work with her fame. But she took a major hit to her public image after a video appeared to depict her using the n word flippantly. But her supportive boyfriend, Joe Jonas, has had her back through it all.
Check out her colorful glamor shot for the cover story below.

Fifth Harmony recently sat down with Time Magazine for a total love fest of an interview. Since the departure of Camila Cabello from the group, Ally Brooke Hernandez has called the group’s latest tour the “best time we’ve ever had.” Even as all four of the group’s remaining members are pursuing solo projects, the ladies are coming together again for a new album led by “Down.”
“The very exciting thing about going into this album is that we know the story we want to tell,” Ally Brooke said. “We draw from our personal experiences. We’ve been in the studio, and we’ve had a lot of creative control. And through that, we’ve been able to co-write more than half of our album. It was an amazing process to have that creative freedom. It’s great to put in our voices and our words on this album.”
So, what exactly is in those voices and those words? Time asked the group’s members to explains what’s different about them as musicians and individuals as they enter a new era. The women of Fifth Harmony took it as a chance to sing each other’s praises. Each took a turn describing what she admires about another member of the group.
Demi Lovato was honored in this year’s Time 100 from Time Magazine. The singer got a sweet write-up from Ariana Huffington for the publication and she seemed excited to get a chance to perform for many of the honorees at a gala event on Tuesday night.
Demi sore a couple of different looks as she brought a three-song set of her golden oldies to the stage. Showing up on the red carpet in a dazzling blue dress with peacock vibes, Demi changed into an all-black suit to take the stage.
Both looks had very low necklines, extending her streak of revealing looks from last week. Demi has been on a bikini selfie kick as she leans in on a body positivity message.

If Demi Lovato wanted her “sister” Poot Lovato to disappear, she’s going to have to wait a while. TIME Magazine has released the list of the “16 Most Influential Fictional Characters” and the star of the meme came in at #15. The horribly-angled photo of Demi spawned Poot’s backstory — that she was a hidden sister, held captive in a basement and finally escaped. Fans of Poot began to create life stories and a social media presence for the character. It even sparked a farcical social media campaign demanding #JusticeForPoot.
Though the world found Poot funny, of course Demi did not. “Cool to see a shitty angle turn into a meme that circulates the internet to people’s amusement ha,” she tweeted.
Maybe Poot’s achievement can help soften the blow from Demi’s lack of Grammy nominations.
Are you happy to see Poot named to the list?
