Fifth Harmony may have just finished the first leg of its “PSA Tour,” but that doesn’t meant there’s any time to slow down. The group headed to New York Tuesday for a “TRL” Takeover on MTV’s rebooted afternoon staple. The show was ready for the girls to phone it in after all the road dates, and it had them play a game in which they lip synced their own songs.

Keke Palmer is all laughs and jokes when it comes to her social media presence, but a lot of fans are obviously taking her sense of humor a little too seriously. The “Scream” actress appeared on TRL Thursday afternoon for some fun and games with the Dolan Twins and Quincy Brown.
Nick Jonas stopped by the confusing new “TRL” reboot for a quick chat and a performance of his new song, “Find You.” The singer refused to name which songs he had written out of love and stuck to the official line about the good times on the “Jumanji” set. Yawn.
Noah Cyrus followed hot on the heels of Ed Sheeran on MTV’s resurrected “Total Request Live.” The singer proved once again that live performances aren’t her forte as she brought her spooky single “Again” to the stage. While the track’s featured artist, alleged pregnant girlfriend puncher XXXTentacion, couldn’t make it, Noah did her best to get the “TRL” crowd screaming.
Ed Sheeran was too young to appear on an episode of MTV’s “TRL” when it originally aired from 1998-2008. Nine years later, Ed is now a household name and the music video series has been revived with the U.K. singer as one of its first musical guests.
Kendall Jenner stopped by a very special edition of TRL on Tuesday. MTV brought the live show out of retirement to do “Total Registration Live,” a star-studded TV event designed to convince MTV’s audience to register to vote in the November election. Kendall was one of several notable names who stopped by to help someone at the show sign up. She spoke with MTV’s Ana Marie Cox about why she wanted to help young people register.
“Our generation has so much power. There’s 75 million of us. And together we can really choose who we want to help make this country what we want it to be,” Kendall explains. “That means you have to go out and vote.” Kendall didn’t dish on her own political leanings, but the voter she personally helped register expressed excitement at the prospect of the first female president.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Kendall if she didn’t bring her style game to the event. She took to Snapchat to show off the underboob her black and white striped crop top sweater had her sporting. With a ripped sleeve and some torn up jeans, Kendall’s grungy vibes only looked a little bit like the costume for a minor character in a Tim Burton movie.
