Justin Bieber copyright case dismissedThings are looking up for Justin Bieber in 2017. A copyright infringement lawsuit against the pop star and his mentor Usher has been dismissed. The two singers were accused of stealing their track “Somebody to Love” by Devin Copeland in 2015. According to TMZ, a judge felt that the comparisons were “‘modest’ at best.”

Justin Bieber parties with Usher-2Justin Bieber and mentor Usher enjoyed their Sunday night which included drinks at a club and a jam session with Justin’s opening act Post Malone. The crew got together to celebrate Justin’s friend and musical partner Poo Bear’s birthday in Los Angeles

Typically, Justin would share a few photos to his Instagram. But since the singer deleted his account, Usher was the one to provide video of the group’s night.

The Black Eyed Peas Releases A Star-Studded Remake Of “Where Is The Love”

The Black Eyed Peas Release A Star-Studded Version Of Where Is The LoveThe Black Eyed Peas decided to revisit its 13-year-old peace anthem “Where Is The Love” in the wake of violence, injustice and general suffering around the world. The band gathered some of Hollywood’s biggest names to be part of making #WHERESTHELOVE a movement once again. Taye Diggs, Jamie Foxx, Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, Tori Kelly, Usher, Jaden Smith, Vanessa Hudgens and many more are featured on the track and the song’s new video.

“I hope this song inspires the millennials to go all out,” will.i.am explains. “Scream from the tallest mountain. Care like your freedom depends on it. Pay attention like that is at risk.”

“#WHERESTHELOVE (feat. The World)” is available exclusively via iTunes with proceeds going to the “i.am angel Foundation” that supports undeserved youth programs.

Usher Helped Justin Bieber With His Career Not With Exposing His Penis

Usher wants nothing to do with Justin Bieber's penisUsher had a helping hand in exposing Justin Bieber’s talents to the world, but the mentor will not be taking credit for the amount of time Justin’s penis has been exposed. “He does have a brain of his own,” Usher told Howard Stern. “What he chose to do with his penis is his prerogative you know what I’m saying. He’s managing that aspect of his life. I have nothing to do with Justin Bieber’s private parts.”

During the interview, Usher also discussed his role in Justin’s career that has had many ups and downs since his rise to fame. “I mean as a mentor, as he’s accepted my opinion, I can give my perspective. I feel like I’m talking to someone who has had hardships,” he said.

The Weeknd Apologizes For Big-Time Billboard Music Awards Flub

The WeekndThe Weeknd won big at last night’s 2016 Billboard Music Awards, but he jumped the gun celebrating his accomplishment. The artist tweeted out an incorrect message about how winning those eight awards was “more than any male artist in history.”

He clearly forgot about Usher winning 14 Billboard Music Awards in 2004, but he was swiftly reminded. The Weeknd owned up to his mistake by tweeting out an apology to Usher, the “OG” record breaker.

Demi Lovato Honors Ray Charles At The White HouseLast night, president Barack Obama invited some of music’s biggest stars to pay tribute to Ray Charles. Demi Lovato was among the lineup of musicians to perform. She first sang Ray’s “You Don’t Know Me,” and she later joined the other musicians like Usher to perform “Heaven Help Us All.”

The performances were taped for a Smithsonian special, and it will air in full tomorrow on PBS.
