Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi ad was so bad, the company pulled it and issued an official apology for putting her “in this position.” The spot, which had Kendall playing nice with police at a glamorized protest, has been nearly universally condemned by actual protestors and many in the media. While Kendall’s friends appear to be in mourning over the state of her career, this isn’t the first firestorm Kendall’s been through. Kendall Jenner made a lot of enemies in the dance world when she took on a ballet-style photoshoot for Vogue Spain. Ballerinas took to social media to express how upset Kendall using ballet as a look for the photoshoot made them. Kendall took to her app on Thursday to share how she feels about the drama that came out of the shoot and clarify how she ended up on pointe and at the barre for the pics.
Kendall Jenner’s video feature for her Vogue Spain cover is receiving negative criticism and it has nothing to do with cultural appropriation. The anger over Kendall’s ballerina video comes from the dance community, many of whom feel that Vogue should’ve used actual ballet performers instead of having Kendall hop around in a tutu.
The model revealed her latest cover for Vogue Spain just days after posting her German Vogue cover. Now with Vogue Spain, Kendall has been pictured on the cover of nine issues of Vogue Magazine.
