Charlie Puth has shared another new song from his impending sophomore album “Voicenotes.” The latest is called “The Way I Am” and it finds a more rock-leaning Charlie coming to grips with everything he doesn’t like about himself.
Charlie Puth brought his shaggy locks to the iHeartRadio stage on Sunday night and performed “How Long.” Before taking the stage, Charlie spoke to Access Hollywood to explain why his album “Voicenotes” is taking forever to drop.
Charlie Puth found time in what should be a very busy schedule to promote his music with a performance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” The singer performed “How Long,” which is going to appear on his next album if it ever arrives.
Charlie Puth kicked off the holiday weekend with a performance medley for the “TODAY” show’s Citi Concert Series and his latest single wasn’t the only thing that caught everyone’s “Attention.” Fans were well aware that the track would appear on the singer’s next album, which had very few details until Friday morning.
“My sophomore album is going to be called ‘VoiceNotes,'” Charlie revealed to the talk show hosts during his performance. “The reason is because that every song—I’m almost done with it—came about from the Voice Notes app on my iPhone.”
Soon after the confession, Charlie re-confirmed the announcement and added that “VoiceNotes” is arriving later this year.
