Miley Cyrus is among the growing list of celebrities joining in on the We Are Here movement. Following the tragic deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling, this movement was started to bring an end to racial injustice in America.
Celebrities including Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine, Rihanna and more have banded together to bring awareness to the cause and many are featured in the moving tribute video, “23 Everyday Actions Punishable by Death if You’re Black in America.”
The movement, started by Alicia Keys, also brings to light issues such as poverty, gender inequality, LGBTQ youth suicide and gun violence.
