Zayn Malik Comes Out Of Hiding Thicker Than Ever

Dishelved Zayn Malik Comes Out Of HidingZayn Malik has become somewhat of a mythical creature. The former One Direction member has a habit of disappearing from the spotlight, leaving fans hungry for music or even the tiniest new project. He checks in every so often via Instagram and his latest has shown a scruffier side of his existence.

Zayn’s most recent proof of life post puts a thick beard on display. His hair is as long and untamed as it is greasy. The look resembles that of someone on the lam, which could very well be the case given the massive backlash from his “gender fluidity” Vogue cover story with Gigi Hadid.

Check out the post below and tell us what you think of Zayn’s new look.

Vogue Issues Apology For Zayn Malik And Gigi Hadid’s “Gender Fluidity” Cover Story: “We Missed The Mark”

Vogue Issues Apology For Zayn Malik And Gigi Hadid's Gender Fluid Cover: We Missed The MarkZayn and Gigi Hadid’s new Vogue cover story has everyone talking and not in a good way. After the couple discussed how they borrow each other’s clothes, the story’s writer opted to define the exchange as gender fluidity.

Readers were not pleased with the way the publication reduced gender fluidity to nothing more than unisex clothing. Many questioned whether or not Vogue understood what it means to be gender-fluid while also bashing the publication for pandering without using real people who actually identify as non-binary or gender-fluid.

Vogue has now attempted to apologize following the backlash. In a statement obtained by Entertainment Tonight, a spokeswoman from the magazine claims that they “missed the mark.”

Justin Bieber May Be The Only Person Alive Who’s Here For Zayn Malik And Gigi Hadid’s Vogue Cover

Justin Bieber May Be The Only Person Alive Who's Here For Zayn Malik And Gigi Hadid's Vogue Cover featureGigi Hadid shared her latest Vogue cover with an unexpected guest. Instead of Kendall Jenner or Bella Hadid, Gigi appeared alongside her boyfriend, Zayn. The couple’s cover sparked some controversy as it seemed to put them at the center of the cultural conversation about gender fluidity, a term used by transgender and gender variant people to describe their experiences.

Neither Zayn nor Gigi have ever opened up about their gender identities, but the unusual pick didn’t seem to matter to Justin Bieber. He shared a shot from the story via Instagram, writing “Love this” in a caption on the pic.

It’s a shame Justin is single and so against wearing tops or maybe he could’ve been hailed as a gender fluid icon for wearing his girlfriend’s designer t-shirts.

Check out Justin’s post below.

Nick Jonas Scores His First-Ever Solo Show In Dubai

Nick Jonas Is A Store Brand Zayn Malik And A Joe Jonas Sequel For His New Booking In Dubai featureNick Jonas is headed East this October. The singer, who just dropped a new single, has been busy helping Demi Lovato promote her latest release. But he’s apparently had his team scheming in the background, as Nick’s been announced as a performer at a big festival half a world away. He’ll be in Dubai for Fiesta De Los Muertos, a day of the dead festival in the gleaming super city.

Nick is a more consistent and less anxious option than another R&B/pop singer who broke away from his boy band in search of success. One Direction quitter Zayn Malik has famously cancelled a big show in Dubai despite his family’s Middle Eastern roots. Zayn’s ongoing struggle with “extreme anxiety” has made it difficult for him to stick to his performing commitments.

That’s not the case for Joe Jonas and his band, DNCE. They performed at this festival in Dubai last year, but caught some virtual heat after Joe and guitarist JinJoo Lee shared pics featuring some local head gear in the dessert. Joe still recommended Dubai to Nick very highly.

“Joe told me it was one of his favorite shows,” Nick says. “He told me I should not miss this opportunity to come down to Dubai, see the fans and play for them. My friends who have been to Dubai have given me a list of places to visit.”

Nick hasn’t performed in Dubai as a solo artist ever. His last gig there was as a member of the Jonas Brothers in 2010.

Zayn Recalls Getting Treated Like A Terrorist Upon Arriving To The U.S. For The First Time

Zayn Recalls Getting Treated Like A Terrorist Upon Arriving To The U.S. For The First Time featureZayn was supposed to chat with the Evening Standard about his new line of rock star looks from Versace, but the singer didn’t spend much time talking about his new Versus collection and instead focused on his girlfriend Gigi Hadid and recounting his first-time experiences as an immigrant in America.

Security is a primary concern for Zayn given his fame. But, even in the early days of his One Direction fame, security could also be an obstacle–like the first few times he came to U.S. and got flagged for his Pakistani name at airport security.

“The first time I came to America, I had three security checks before I got on the plane; first they said that I’d been randomly selected, and then they said it was something to do with my name, it was flagging something on their system,” Zayn explains. “Then, when I landed, it was like a movie. They kept me there for three hours, questioning me about all kinds of crazy stuff. I was 17, my first time in America, jet-lagged off the plane, confused. The same thing happened the next time too.”
