Strip What Down? Liam Payne Is Moving On To A New Song

Strip What Down? Liam Payne Is Moving On With A New Song featureLiam Payne is on to another one as he’s announced his second solo single. New pics and video of Liam with producer Zedd reveal a new collaboration between the duo. Apparently, Liam and Zedd just shot a visual for their track together, and the release is coming.

Liam’s the last member of One Direction to launch his solo career, but he’s been vocal about the direction he wants to go in. Liam has compared his musical style to Zayn’s, but hasn’t had many nice things to say about his former bandmate. Moreover, he’s not concerned about competition from any of the 1D boys.

Zedd has a history of making hits. While a feature from Quavo wasn’t enough to put Liam’s “Strip That Down” over the top, maybe the musical talents of Zedd will help. The duo has teamed up in the past, after all.

A Time-Traveling Alessia Cara Gets Zedd Killed In “Stay” Music Video

Time-Traveling Alessia Cara Gets Zedd Killed In Stay Music Video featureAlessia Cara’s collaborations with Zedd have paid off with a new music video. A visual for the duo’s song, “Stay,” dropped on Tuesday and the results are not great for Zedd.

Zedd and Alessia play neighbors in the short vignette. After missing each other in the elevator one morning, time rewinds so that they catch each other instead. The duo spends the day together, heading to the beach and grabbing a bite to eat.

The antics are cut short when Zedd gets hit by a car. Alessia gets a chance to show off her acting chops as she reacts to Zedd’s death.

Camila Cabello Supports Zedd’s ACLU Benefit Show

Camila Cabello performs at Zedd's benefit concert-5Camila Cabello performed her first concert as a solo artist on Monday night and did some good in the world at the same time. The singer attended Zedd’s benefit concert in support of the ACLU along with performers like Alessia Cara, John Mayer and Halsey.

Since Camila is just a featured artist right now with no music of her own to perform, the former Fifth Harmony singer was joined on stage by Machine Gun Kelly. She then gave a one-of-a-kind rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Man In the Mirror” backed by a choir and Zedd.

Proceeds from the concert went to the ACLU in support of its mission to protect the rights of women, Muslims and immigrants.

Alessia Cara And Zedd Team Up On New SongAlessia Cara was thrown into Zedd’s latest song release. The track, “Stay,” includes the DJ’s classic dancehall rhythm combined with a new experimental robotic sound. Alessia’s vocals are slightly altered in the chorus for another infectiously funky element. “Stay” comes complete with a mind-bending lyric video set in a desert scene with stunning moments of brightly lit doorways.

Halsey Joins Zedd’s ACLU Benefit Show

Halsey Is Joining Zedd's ACLU Benefit Show featureHalsey is one of several big names that have been announced for a new benefit show. Organized by Zedd, the show will benefit the American Civil Liberties Union, which has been working overtime to challenge President Donald Trump’s executive orders like the Muslim Ban. Zedd has put together a lineup that also features Tinashe, Daya, Skrillex and more.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t get some of the stars he originally tried to recruit. While Macklemore is on board, Zedd couldn’t get Camila Cabello, who has written about her own experience as a member of an immigrant family, for the show despite reaching out publicly.

The concert is called “Welcome!” and tagged as “Phase 1,” hinting that there could be more phases coming soon. The first one will happen on April 3 at the Staples Center in L.A.
