Jonas Brothers NOT Attending MTV VMAs

Jonas Brothers WILL NOT be attending the MTV Video Music Awards this year. According to Us there reason for their absence is not because Russell Brand is hosting again. Nick, Kevin and Joe were personally attacked by Russell for wearing purity rings and refraining from sex, but they don't hold it against him:
Nick told BBC: 'As far as his comments were concerned, what we said from the beginning was that he seemed to run out of material but if we're the butt of his jokes, it's kind of a compliment in a bizarre way. Hosting the show is great for him. He has form and ultimately he does a great job. We hope he has a good time this year.' Pink, Taylor Swift and Green Day will perform.

Jonas Blog: WHAT A TOUR! We are sitting backstage in Ottawa preparing for the concert and thinking about what an amazing summer and year this has already been. We have done almost 70 concerts since May. Last night we had a show in Toronto for over 55,000 people. We were also on MuchMusic again with our friends, Honor Society. Tonight is the last show of this leg of the tour.
Later this year we will be back in Latin and South America, Europe, and some more dates in the US. Then other parts of the world. Can't wait! Every city has been amazing. We will never forget this summer and all of your faces. Thanks you for allowing us to live our dreams, JB Kevin, Joe and Nick.
Nick Jonas & Miley Cyrus ALABAMA BFFS

BPLovesJonas: I got to meet the Jonas Brothers in Birmingham, Alabama on August 16, 2009. It was very nice for them to come over to meet with us. You have to overlook the screaming though (I was so excited). If you look closely you can see Miley Cyrus. She is right beside Nick.
NOTE: People are fighting about whether it's Miley or Mandy Van D.
