Jonas 'We've Been Reading Your Dares'

Jonas Brothers Myspace blog: Hope you are having a great summer. This has been one of the best summers of our lives. We are about half way through our North American tour and it has been amazing. We started in Dallas in front of almost 50,000 people. We have played shows in Tulsa, Denver, Nampa, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and across middle and western Canada.
Omaha, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Detroit, Washington DC, Boston, NJ, NY, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Kansas City, and today we are in Monterrey, Mexico. They just presented us with a GOLD RECORD for the new CD here in Mexico. If you have seen the any of the shows we would love to hear from you.
We have loved being back our in front of our fans. Tomorrow we will be back in Las Vegas, NV and then California for a while for shows in Fresno, San Jose, Sacramento, and 3 shows at Staples Center in LA. Then we will be HOSTING the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS.
We have been reading through many of the DARES you sent. You never know what we will be doing?!?!?! We have seen more people already this year then any other year before. Thank you for making that possible! Thanks for all your support. We really are thankful that we have the best fans in the world.
Jonas Brothers On Boy Band Shelf Life The Beatles AND Staying GROUNDED

bands having a limited shelf-life: 'What people don't really understand is that we secretly are over the age of 40, so we've already lived through our shelf-life-time, so we're just going back and trying to reinvent ourselves. In all seriousness, we are just having fun with what we do and playing music.'
Nick on being compared to the Beatles: 'I think the Beatles are the Beatles
and no one can touch that. We're honored that some people say that, but for us, we're just trying to be ourselves and just trying to really be inspired by a lot of things. You know artists like the Beatles, Elvis Costello, Johnny Cash, Prince and just continue to learn and have fun.'
Kevin on staying relevant in the music industry: 'You think about that every
day as an artist in this generation. You look back on it, and just 10-15 years ago, Britney Spears and the 'N Syncs of the world were selling a million records in the first day of their album release and they were selling arenas out.
We're on an arena tour, but no one's selling 10 million records anymore. The Internet has taken a very huge turn in music, but, of course, I think everyone wants to take new steps toward new ideas and new technologies that..
..will allow music to get there, and get out there first. We released an album a year the past four years now ..Just always continually making new music and continuing to put out music is very key in a world that moves so quickly.'
Nick on staying grounded: 'It's about the family base. We've made that rule
No. 1 from day one, making sure that the family comes first and that we focus on that. That's the priority. Also we live by the rule, 'We live life if it's at the top like we're at the bottom,' which means stay humble and keep the right attitude.'
Miley, 'Nick Jonas & I Love Each Other'

Nick Jonas revealed to M that 'Before The Storm' is the song that means the most to him on the Jonas Brothers new album: 'I'm really happy with the song and am glad it was able to happen.' Song lyrics include: 'We were young and times we easy.. I don't want to lose her.'
Nick added, 'It's not the end, just a new chapter.' Miley dished on Niley: 'Obviously Nick and I have a lot of history. We know people might ask, 'Why would Miley be in a song?' It's because Nick and I love each other, think the world of each other and no matter what, we're gonna be best friends.'
Nick revealed that he and Miley are 'hanging out, having a good time and enjoying life. We've reconnected and that's what's important.' Miley added, 'I'm so happy to be in the Jonas Brothers' lives and them in mine and my family is happy we're hanging out again.'

Nick Jonas will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on August 24 at 1 PM to discuss his personal experiences living with and managing juvenile diabetes and his efforts to inspire youth dealing with diabetes.
Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13, Nick tests his blood sugar more than ten times a day and has made a personal commitment to raise awareness about juvenile diabetes.
Kevin & Joe, Nick founded Jonas Brothers' Change for the Children Foundation to support programs that motivate children to face adversity. One of their causes is to raise money and awareness for various diabetes programs.
