Kevin Jonas talked to Mercury News about his blossoming career how he's happy working in an arena full of screaming kids: 'I think that being part of it, witnessing it firsthand, is much better than working at Starbucks and just
getting by at college.'
Do you feel pressure of having so many people depending on you financially, from your road crew to Disney stockholders? 'We don't really feel pressure. We have a really great system in place and a great team in place that makes it fun everywhere we go.
We know it's a machine, we know it's a big business, and we don't really look
at it that way. We look at it as a great way for us to enjoy the art that we like
to make, and enjoy just the excitement of making new music.'
Ever want to break free from the corporate Disney shackles? 'We were a band way before we ever did anything with Disney. It's been great. The reason we love them is 'cause they let us be who we..
..are. They don't try to change us. They do not pressure us to be anything.
I think that's a common misconception and it's definitely not the way it is.'

From Desiree: Yesterday, my friend saw the Jonas Brothers walking to Jerry's Deli with their whole family still wearing the same outfit that they were wearing at the Ponyo premiere. They stopped to take pictures and shook their hands and were beyond nice. Video of JB @ the premiere under!
From Melissa: At the Ponyo premier the Jonas Brothers stopped by to greet some of their fans who waited outside to meet them. They were really nice. They took there time to meet every fan individually. They were being so nice and Joe was smiling even after his breakup with Camilla. He looked very happy.

Jonas Brothers PONYO PREMIERE

Jonas Brothers @ Ponyo premiere at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California. From Jamie: They were kinda late, they came around 6:40 and Nick was turning to Joe and whispering stuff and they chuckled. They posed with Frankie and then left, they didn't come out to the fans sadly!
They went into the theatre itself at around 7:10 and Nick was the last one of them going in and he was pretty much attached to his cell phone, but put it away before they went in! Joe also seemed OK, he was smiling and seemed excited for Frankie!

From reader: 'I'm taking summer courses at UCLA & while I was eating lunch my friend ran in yelling.. 'JOE JONAS IS OUTSIDE!' I didn't believe him at first, but he showed me a picture of them together. Joe was running with his trainer. He was probably here because their Bel Air home is nearby.'

From Molly: Jonas Brothers were playing dodgeball [In Detroit] in between all their buses in the parking and at first only a few girls were there watching then a bunch came over. Girls would scream and other girls would yell 'SHUT UP', that's why you hear people yelling shut up.
Nick got pretty intense while playing. Kevin played too but he was on his phone the whole time. After they got done playing they walked across the street to go in for sound check and Nick and Kevin had to hop a fence fast so girls wouldn't get him.'
Joe Jonas Special Olympics FUN RUN

Joe Jonas will lead the Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) iWin Fun Run on August 13 at historic Sunset Station in San Antonio to support Change for
the Children Foundation. Go here to register.
The event will take place the morning of the sold out Jonas Brothers concert in San Antonio and features a family friendly 5K and 1K option. The event begins at 8:15 AM at Sunset Station. Entry fees are $20 per person or $35 for a family entry [Child & parent.]
Top fundraisers will win an award presented by Joe Jonas himself. And, SOTX athletes can enter a contest to win free tickets to the concert that evening. Honor Society will perform live that morning. All participants will receive a iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run finishers medal.
