Boy Meets World Disney Channel Sequel

Disney Channel developing on a sequel series to Boy Meets World centered on the daughter of Cory and Topanga, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Boy Meets World ran as part of ABC's 'TGIF' block for seven seasons from 1993-2000, centered on the lessons learned by Cory Matthews as he goes through life.
In the finale season Cory and Topanga married and began living together. Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong were among the main cast members on the show. Casting is under way. There is no official word on whether Savage or Fishel will return.
Beau Mirchoff Wizards TV Movie Role

'Awkward' star Beau Mirchoff has booked the co-lead in the network's Wizards of Waverly Place special, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Selena Gomez will reprise her role as Alex in the TV movie, in which the Russo family and friends head to Tuscany, Italy, to meet their long-lost relatives.
When Alex (Gomez) attempts to prove she's more than a carefree young wizard, she inadvertently conjures a spell that creates a 'good' Alex and an 'evil' one. When she's roped into a charming young wizard's foreboding plan to take over the world, Alex must find a way to save her family and humankind, which leads to a battle between the two versions of herself on the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Mirchoff will play Dominic, a handsome and mysterious wizard who may not be as sweet as he seems. Wizards' Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera, David DeLuise and Gregg Sulkin will reprise their role in the telepic, which will launch on Disney Channel in early 2013.

Casting directors search for stars in the snowboarding themed film that shoots in Utah during Winter 2013.
